Dear Dr. Keyes,
Thank you for your
prompt response to
my email. I'm so
glad you are recommending
Lynne Slim. I found
her website shortly
after emailing you.
As a matter of fact,
I just printed out
an extremely informative
article she wrote
in 2005 entitled, "Nonsurgical
Periodontal Therapy
Then and Now: Changes
Since the Early 1980s." Right
on the first page
she states how you,
in 1981, "revolutionized
dental hygiene" and
refers to you as "The
Father of Anti-Infective
Therapy." Dr.
Keyes, I wish there
was some way the
countless thousands
of people you have
spared from dental
surgery and tooth
loss over the years
could repay you.
Saying "thank
you" somehow
just doesn't seem
adequate.
Thank you for recommending
Lynne. I will certainly
call her to schedule
an appointment. I
can think of at least
a dozen of my friends
here in Atlanta who
will do likewise.
I still find it so
unbelievable that
there are no periodontists
or dentists here
in a booming metropolis
like Atlanta who
are not on board
with you and practicing
your method of dentistry.
I pray that they
soon come to their
senses.
Thank you again,
Dr. Keyes. I'm deeply
honored that you
want to post my message,
and you certainly
have my permission
to do so. Please
feel free to edit
it wherever necessary.
Finally, I want to
say that even though
I'm just one person,
I am "one passionate
warrior" in
the "Keyes Army," so
if I am ever able
to speak about what
you have done in
my life or come to
your aid in any way,
just say the word
and I'll be there.
God bless you, General,
Gaye Tiffany
